In 2020, Covid arrived, and disrupted our entire industry.
Many of Matrix’s clients relied on in-person events for recruiting, revenue, and networking. Covid changed all that.
In response, we developed Bespeake, an event technology platform that enables both virtual and in-person events. Built entirely in-house with the event needs of our clients in mind.
Bespeake features event scheduling, virtual presentations, exhibitor rooms, live chat and more, all within a highly customizable interface.
During the UX process we explored various paradigms for dashboards, exhibitor templates, schedules/calendars, meeting rooms and many others. I was the creative director and lead UX architect during this process.
Bespeake features customizable templates for a variety of event modules, including dashboards, schedules, attendee directories, live panel discussions, exhibitor profiles, speaker presentations, and even various “lounges”.
In support of promoting the Bespeake platform, a microsite, promotional videos, case studies, and social media campaigns were developed.
RESULTS
Since its launch in 2020, BeSpeake has hosted dozens of events, both virtual and in-person. BeSpeake clients include the Food Industry Association, the Catholic Health Association, and a number of other nonprofits and trade associations who have made BeSpeake their primary virtual meeting platform.
